BreakSlow

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Viktoria and her two flatmates developed a daily ritual of sharing slow, reflective breakfasts together. This time allowed them to connect deeply, exchanging stories and habits amidst the global uncertainty.

The BreakSlow ceramics project was inspired by these mornings. Viktoria studied the distinct personalities and routines within their household to create a piece that unified their diverse cultures and lifestyles. The resulting artwork celebrates the beauty of slowing down and the profound connections formed through simple daily rituals, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences of togetherness during challenging times.
